A small collection of practical engineering tools is gradually being added here. The focus is on geotechnical engineering, deep foundations and technical software applications. New tools will be added whenever time permits and are provided free of charge.

Reinforcement Cage Generator for Bored Piles

The tool supports the configuration and review of reinforcement cages for bored piles. Cage types, shear-reinforcement regions, stiffening rings, spacers and additional components are edited in a desktop-oriented workspace.

Pile Geometry

Rotationally Symmetric Pile Layout beneath Silo Foundations as a Preliminary Geometric Arrangement Proposal

This tool generates a preliminary geometric arrangement of piles beneath circular or annular foundation slabs, including ring sequence, pile schedule, graphical representation and export functions.

IFC 3D Viewer for Basic Model Review

The IFC viewer loads IFC files locally in the browser and shows a 3D view with model structure and properties. It is intended for quick checks and simple model review.

PDF / Drawing Evaluation

PDF Load Values, Coordinates and Stamps

The tool reads embedded text from technical PDF drawings, provides combined selection filters and links detected values to numbered stamps and calibrated coordinates.

  • Select similar text from a sample and refine it using font, colour, pattern and region filters
  • Calibrate scale, origin and X/Y direction while managing values and stamps page by page
  • Plain Excel export with value, X and Y plus PDF export with stamps
